Le jardin de roses du château

Site "Not to be missed" of the Route de la Rose du Loiret. Situated in the park of the Château de Saint-Jean-le-Blanc, the rose garden was created in the spring of 2012. This 1200 m² garden was designed and created by the green spaces department of the town of Saint-Jean-e-Blanc with the help of the Horticultural Society of Orleans and Loiret. It consists of 76 varieties of roses selected for their vigour and resistance to disease. The particularity of this garden is that it is located all around an old backyard greenhouse. A wrought iron fountain made by a local artist brings a beautiful perspective to this place.
